The
SL Series Inline Fillers feature Ratioflo® Volumetric Modules
(RVM's) that provide a very simple and accurate means of filling any
pumpable product, including those with large particulates. Accuracy
is better than +/- 0.15 percent for most applications and guaranteed
to be better than +/- 0.25%. RVM's employ a proprietary free-floating
piston design that delivers the fill volume in either one stroke or
multiple (successive) strokes of operation. Product is pumped directly
to the filler's manifold at very low pressure, and the RVM controls
the fill volume and also provides a positive shut-off at the end of
the filling cycle. A wide range of nozzle designs and filling techniques
are available to meet the most demanding application - "drip free"
laminar flow, flow actuated, conventional top fill, bottom-up and sub-surface.
Also, programmable or profile filling is easily obtainable with a variable
frequency pump drive. RVM's are available in both standard and 3A sanitary
construction with CIP capabilities. Products can range from thin to
viscous and from hot to cold to meet a wide variety of food and chemical
applications.
The
LF Series Inline New Weight Fillers feature closed product
supply piping and "drip free" laminar flow filling valves
(eliminating the need for filler bowls and hoppers). Containers are
individually indexed (inline) onto load cell platforms where they are
elevated to a receptive position for filling. Product is delivered with
a PD pump (with a VF drive) where the speed is controlled via a programmed
analog output signal. These systems feature state of the art digital
electronic weighing technology to provide extreme accuracy at modest
production rates. The systems are designed for food products as well
as for paints and chemicals - applications where cleanability and quick
turn around are the major focus.
